FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) is a powerful motivator. By adding a Countdown Timer to your product pages, you let customers know that your offer won't last forever, encouraging them to buy now rather than later.
Go to the Customizations tab and look for the Countdown Timer section. You can enable or disable this feature globally from here.
The timer is automatically linked to your campaign's End Date.
If a campaign is set to end in 3 hours, the timer will start counting down from 02:59:59.
Once the timer hits zero, the discount prices disappear, and the timer widget is hidden.
You can fully adjust the visual style to match your store:
Timer Background: Choose a bold color (like red or black) to make it pop, or a transparent background for a minimal look.
Digit Style: Change the font and size of the numbers.
Label Text: Customize the text appearing above or below the numbers (e.g., "Offer ends in:" or "Sale ends in:").
You can decide where the timer appears:
Product Page: Right above or below the "Add to Cart" button (recommended).
Collection Page: Showing a smaller version of the timer on product thumbnails to create urgency while browsing.
Since most shoppers use mobile devices, ensure your timer isn't too large. Check the Mobile Preview in the Customization panel to make sure it doesn't block the "Buy" button.
Pro Tip: Use the timer only for truly limited offers (e.g., Flash Sales or Holiday Deals). If a customer sees a countdown every single day for the same product, the "urgency" effect will disappear!
